A Break in the Weather is a venerable series of private house concerts produced by Sandra Fugate and Peter Swensson to help keep spirits up during the cold and dark months of the year. We produce 2 or 3 special concert each year.

The Concerts highlight acoustic performers ranging from solo guitarists to swing vocalists, and from folk to jazz. Performances occur in living rooms and are notable for their intimacy and interaction between audience and performer. These are private parties, and guests need to bring their own chairs and are welcome to bring beverages of their choice and potluck snacks to share at the break between sets.

All proceeds from the concerts go entirely to the guest musicians, and the bookings, organization and venues are provided on a volunteer basis.
